Sentinel HASP Run-time installation ERROR

DownLoading "Sentinel_LDK_Run-time_setup" (Ver.7.8)

including, HASPUserSetup.exe is Executing(as an Administorator) Windows10 Enterprise LTSB (2016) Ver.1607.

but, interrupt ERROR.

"Error When starting the Sentinel Licence Manager service with parameters 1232 0 0.

This is an internal error. For assistance, connect your administrator or the software manufacturer.

Status Code: 48 5 891 0"

What is the solution?

Other Testing...

Windows7 Professional SP1 x64 is OK!

Windows8.1 Pro x64 is same ERROR.

Windows10 Enterprise Ver.1709 x64 is same ERROR.

Thanks for your query !

Please note that the hasp_login APIs can only be used with hasp configuration keys. Could you please share some details of SuperPro key that you are using. It would be helpful if you may share a picture.

Sentinel Net 10 HL Key will not work after unplugging and plugging back in

Hi,
 
We are using Sentinel NET 10 HL keys with our application. I can duplicate an order in Factory and then execute the order. The dongle then works with our encrypted application the first time it is plugged into the target Windows 7, 64 bit system, however after shutting down the application and removing the key and then plugging the key back in we get an H0031 feature not found error. This happens for any of the Sentinel Net 10 HL keys that we have programmed for the application.
 
On this same target PC we can plug in a legacy HASP NET 10 dongle and it works every time, no matter how many times we unplug and plug in.
 
We have setup DEP and firewall exclusions to no avail.
 
Just looking for an idea that may help resolve this issue.

Dear User,

Thanks for raising the concern.

However, we dont have any such issues reported for the RTE 7.8 as for now.
The error message suggests that the nature of issue could be environment specific.

Kindly help to confirm the below points:

1- Does the issue persists in presence of any specific anti-virus version ? please check by disabling it.
2- Does the user have full admin rights over the machine ?
3- Is port 1947 available for the run-time drivers ? please check if it is not preoccupied by any other process.

If the issue still persists then please be suggested to raise it with our support team as we may need to have a more detailed investigation on the same.

Following the advice, I tried to do it, but same error result.


Windows10 Enterprise LTSB was VMWare VM.

I did New Create VM, HASP Installer is successful. maybe...VM Settting.


I will try various things. If that does not help, I will ask Support Portal.

This SuperPro key can not be converted into hasp configuration key in order to use with hasp_login API.

Can you tell me which files to distrubute to the customer computer in the setup process and where to install them exactly?

bcdedit /set nx AlwaysOff  ...Win8.1 x64 Over, Same ERROR.

bcdedit /set nx OptIn  ... ...Win8.1 x64 Over, OK! Success!!


I will ask the continuation through Japanese support.

Hi Anubhav,
 
I have corrected the issue. I found that the order for the dongle had been corrupted. I set up a new order and with the correct package and features and everything is now working.
