SAM is checking the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Rainbow Technologies\Sentinel System Driver
To tell if the "USB drivers" are installed.
If you don’t have ownership of the registry key (ie: Access Denied) the “USB Driver Installation" is not detected in SAM. (As SAM is not being able to read
the above registry key).
This said,
the SAM (Sentinel Advance Medic) is designed to communicate with
the Sentinel System Driver (Parallel and USB drivers)
and detect following dongles:
Sentinel Hardware Key / Sentinel Dual Hardware Key (USB)
Sentinel UltraPro Key (USB & Parallel)
Sentinel SuperPro Key (USB & Parallel)
But looking at your “screenshots”, you do have the following USB devices, attached and the Sentinel LDK Runtime Drivers 7.55 installed on the machine:
Sentinel HASP Key
Sentinel HL Key
These USB devices & related Drivers (Sentinel LDK Runtime Drivers 7.55) are not supported by the SAM (Sentinel Advance Medic).
If you want to check the content of the attached “Sentinel HASP Key” / “Sentinel HL Key”
Open you internet browser (ie: Internet explorer) and type the URL http://localhost:1247
If the Service “Sentinel LDK License Manager” is started, it will display the interface “Admin Control Center” (ACC).
Then click on “Sentinel Keys” to get the connected “Sentinel HASP Key” / “Sentinel HL Key” displayed.
