We did test the same Windows feature update sequence but with the driver version downloaded from your link and this time there was no issue. So we will take care of updating the driver version packaged in our product and also put in place a process to be more proactive on upgrading the driver used in our product.

I am using some old HASP APIs (the dlls being used are haspms32.dll v8.0.1 and hinstd.dll v4.95). Can anyone provide me the API documentation and the release notes for these dlls/apis.

shk command line utility not working on windows 10

Everything was working on Windows 8.1.
After migrating to windows 10 on a new PC  Toolkit and and command-line stoped protecting my application.
toolkit is still able to program keys.
old pc with win 8 still working fine

Kindly share the following details:

- Share the version of SHK toolkit that you are using?
- Share the error message that you are facing while protecting your application using command line utility.
- Share the version of java installed ? Make sure the machine has 32 bit Java version installed.
- Share the complete OS details of Windows 10 along with build.
- Are you facing crash/error only while performing a particular action ?

Hasplms crashes during installation, 1168 1053 1

Hello, I am installing on a Win10 system ver 1803.

A crash dump of hasplms.exe is showing an exception code of 0xC00001A5.

The installation fails with this error message, from the aksdrvsetup.log from c:\windows\

problems installing a software from a USB

hello,
I'm unable to install a Princeton Instruments software from a USB.
My windows 10 computer is probably missing a driver to view the USB device. I found a similar problem here:
but i couldn't go on the solution link they provided because it required a registration with a Costumer Identifier which i don't posses.
The USB problem looks like this:

Hello.

I have a computer with Windows operating system.
Sentinel SL key is installed on this computer.
I want to format the hard drive of this computer and reinstall Windows operating system on it.
Hardware will not change.
What will happen to the SL key after Windows reinstallation?
How can I save the SL key prior to Windows reinstallation and restore the SL key after Windows reinstallation?

Sentinel LDK Protection System - Internal Error 0x7101 occured

Namaste:

We've been using a Sentinel HASP for Bioexplorer (http://www.cyberevolution.com/) for many years now.   However, we've been deluged with intermittent errors that look like this



I have done everything I can think of - uninstalled / reinstalled the software, the driver itself, downloaded the latest drive from the website, all to no avail.

This issue starting happening recently (the last few months), and the manufacturer has provided new installations with updated drivers.   But then there seems to be a Windows 10 update, and everything breaks again.

I maintain this software on a half-dozen machines, and it only happens on a few of them.   

I'm at my wit's end.   Any help would be fantastic.

We would need some details from your application vendor side about the LDK implementation done in his application for investigating about this issue.

Hi Chris, 

Thanks for sharing the concern.

From the provided logs, it appears that you are using an old version of Sentinel run-time driver which might be incompatible with the Win10 system ver 1803 system.

Hence, please be suggested to try the installation with the latest driver version 7.91 and share the results.

Dear User, 

Thanks for raising the concern.

The hardware parameters of machine would change in the given scenario. Hence, we can apply the same license v2c again on the machine and it should work.

However to avoid any conflict, we suggest to re-host the licenses on another machine temporarily till the format is performed. After that, you can again restore the licenses back on original machine.

if the licenses are not re-hostable then you may need to update these as re-hostable first.

We have an open ticket for "Bioexplorer" application with the same error.
The issue is still under investigation.
