Product ID
Started to create a product and allocated ID, saved as Draft. No draft showing in product list and now the Product ID is showing as already in use when trying to select the same number. How can I find draft or remove ID without having to wipe hard drive and reinstall EMS?

Command-line tool to view license
Hello. Is there any command-line tool to read licenses from a Hasp dongle? I would like to read licenses using either bash or python. My company uses Hasp Sentinel dongles for software licensing, and I occasionally need to read the Host ID from dozens of dongles for record keeping.

We don't have any direct sample works on Python but you can develop your own using Sentinel Licensing API's (Get_info). For more information, kindly create a ticket in Gemalto support portal "https://gemalto.service-now.com/csm".

HASP Driver removed after windows update
We are having problems with windows update removing the HASP driver.
re-installing after the update works, but, the next update removes it again.
We are on Windows 10 LTSB. Hasp LDK 7.66.
We supply a large customer base so reinstalling after every windows update is not a practical option.
Any help would be appreciated.

Could you please share if the Sentinel LDK license manager (hasplms) service is getting removed/stopped after the Windows updates are installed?
It would be helpful if you may also share the details (KB.....) of installed windows update which is affecting the Sentinel HASP/LDK drivers.

Sentinel HASP: Failed to lock global fridge lock
Hello, I have some software installed (IDL 8.7 from Harris Geospatial) that gets a floating license from a Flexera license server. What does this have to do with HASP? I don't know. The previous version, 8.6, runs without problem. However, 8.7 only runs as root. When I try to run as a normal user, I get the following error:
Sentinel HASP: Failed to lock global fridge lock
Sentinel HASP: hasp_cleanup() was called (or the HASP API was unloaded) while a HASP call was active in another thread.
Before deinitializing the HASP API you must ensure that no other thread is using it, otherwise a crash will likely happen.
There are no HASP dongles on the machine and no other software that should be using a HASP. I can't see any software installed that looks like a HASP driver. The system is running Centos 7. Flexera claims it is not a problem with their license server. Has anyone seen this error anywhere? Any clue as to what a global fridge lock might be? I get a lot of food related hits on Google :-)

SafeNet USB Driver for Windows 10 64-bit
I need recommendation of the correct driver for my SafeNet usb key for a program from 2007.
I used it on Windows 7 64-bit with success and now I would like to use it on Windows 10 64-bit.
The problem is that I have Sentinel HASP Run-time 5.95 for Win7 (from 27/09/2010) which no longer works (due to compatibility issues) in Win10.
In Device Manager, I have SafeNet Inc. HASP Key and SafeNet Inc. USB Key with the previous mention version.
I already tried with Sentinel HASP LDK - Windows GUI Run-time Installer ver. 7.66 but no luck.
Can anyone tell me which driver can be used for the usb dongle in Win10 64-bit?

By looking into the details, it seems that the issue is not related to license as the application is working with root privilages.
You are getting this error as the application is not getting proper rights while running wthout admin privaliges.
As here we are not aware of any protection specifications used in the application , therefore,you need to get back to your vendor with the issue and they should share the details with us for further processing.

Hasplms is still running.
The updates are
The Admin control centre does not show the local hasp
The version of HaspUserSetup

Thanks for sharing the details.
After Windows Update, we can see that the Sentinel License Manager service is running fine and the Sentinel keys available in the network are visible in Admin Control Center. Only the Local Hasp key is not visible.
Please check and share the additional details:
- Is the same problem appearing on another Windows 10 machine at your end?
- Share the type of hasp key being used?
- Share if the hasp Key glows when plugged in.
- Share if the key is getting detected under Device Manager>Universal Serial Bus controllers.

It happens on most of our Windows 10 PC's.
The HASP is HASP HL Time.
The HASP does not glow when plugged in.
I will check Device manager next time it happens.

1. The upgrading was done by running the HASPUserSetup utility.
2. There were no problems in the upgrading process. Just an information at the end to prevent the firewall program blocking port 1947 for communication.
3. I am attaching screen shots from the Device Manager.
4. Sentinel Admin Control Center page opens with an empty table.
