Thanks for confirming that you are able to add unprotected programs using "Add Programs" button in Sentinel Envelope.
Please note that no issue should be faced on drag and dropping a supported unprotected program(.jar,.war,.exe,.apk,.dll,.so). Kindly send an email at our Support email <technical.support@gemalto.com> to look into your problem which is being faced while using drag and drop in Sentinel Envelope.
It appears to be some confusion. Please be informed that only the input file can be dragged-dropped and the Output file (protected program) is generated by Envelope on the specified location in 'output file' field.
Dropping an unprotected application on Protection details, Sentinel Envelope project and Programs pane simply add file to list of programs to protect as per the correct behavior.
