Re : Imaged computer lab no longer talks to license server

The license and key reside on a separate computer in a secure location (our server room). The Lab computers should all be identical and point to the machine FQDN in the server closet for their license. The license server is running windows 7 and only the optitex software and security components. The lab machines have the optitex and many other software packages. I use one of these lab computers to install updated software each semester, then capture a copy to the hard drive using a cloning utility. this time we used AOMEI, last time it was Ghost (both with same result). When that image is placed on the remaining lab machines and they are renamed to be unique, they will no longer see the license server.
I did see something in another conversation about clone detection and some software switch...does this apply here?

Thanks for any insight.
