Hello Parth,
Thank you for the information.
When I copied the files you indicated to the JRE/bin folder, Windows reported that the files already existed... I selected to overwrite them.
After that I tried to produce / burn a key again.
That resulted in a an error message:
![]()
When I closed that error dialog, I got another one:
![]()
Clicking the "Details" buttons shows:
Java Plug-in 11.211.2.12 amd64
Using JRE version 1.8.0_211-b12 Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM
User home directory = C:\Users\Erik
----------------------------------------------------
c: clear console window
f: finalize objects on finalization queue
g: garbage collect
h: display this help message
l: dump classloader list
m: print memory usage
o: trigger logging
q: hide console
r: reload policy configuration
s: dump system and deployment properties
t: dump thread list
v: dump thread stack
x: clear classloader cache
0-5: set trace level to <n>
----------------------------------------------------
After that I only get the original error message again:
![]()
So copying those files did do something, but the end result is the same as where I was before doing that.
I checked my browser settings and it appears that Firefox does consider Java "known to be vulnerable. use with caution" . It is set to "Ask to activate", which I cannot change. I do however not get a request to activate Java when trying to activate it.
Realizing this might be the cause of the issue, I decided to use another browser (IE 11) and there it appears to be working fine![]()
I'm open to hints to get this working in Firefox.
Thanks,
Erik
