Sentinel HL Time Key not found

I have a Sentinel HL Time Key and I am trying to use the API call hasp_login() with the default feature ID and the demo vendor code that I got on installing the run time environment. I am able to see my device in the Admin Control Centre, but when I try to login through my application (being developed on Windows 10), it gives me the error  code HASP_HASP_NOT_FOUND (Sentinel protection key not found). 

The Key that I am using is of hardware version 7.2

Sentinel License Manager Version 21.1

Firmware version is 4.31

I have installed the LDK Vendor Suite and in the Toolbox Licensing API too I get the same error - HASP_HASP_NOT_FOUND. Am I missing anything here? Please let me know how to resolve this.
