I'm posting this, because many users will run into the same, sooner or later. Whereas earlier Java-updates often ended up with a broken Tomcat/ EMS-server, this time, you don't get aware of the problem until you start an entitlement-task.
I my opinion, a clear notice on Gemalto's support-pages would save customer's time and avoid the stress of error-analysis in situation, where you can't afford it.
Ones should take into consideration that from a security point of view, many users will go with automatic updates for JRE.
Building on Java web technologies unfortunately imposes regular and frequent fixes/ updates.
