I have a client who has been a long-time user of the Sentinel HASP for one of his applications (.net app). He has not been maintaining/upgrading his HASP interface for quite a while. I'm pretty sure the last update was one that I did back in 2014.
So, that's the long-winded introduction to set the stage. The question now is: "Which way should he go?" Is at all possible to keep using the HASP system for all older versions of his software and then get a new LDK compatible system setup and running and then roll that out for all his newer builds of the software? The main concern he has is he really doesn't want to have any downtime with the migration and if he has any problems with the LDK setup he doesn't want to cost his customers downtime.
Any and all comments/advice invited
Thanks!
