Hello!
I could use some help beacuse we have problem with protecting our main
application (win32). I found an old topic with similar problem:
https://sentineldiscussion.safenet-inc.com/topic/protecting-a-win32-exe-with-sentinel-envelope-7-0-1
But unfortunatelly changing “Remove export” option seems does not change
anything.
Secure log looks always like:
0001 2016-03-29 09:09:26 Windows - Starting Protection Process -
D:\programowanie\win\bin\rv.exe
0002 2016-03-29 09:09:26 Executable contains an export, might not work
properly. Use option to remove export (876)
0003 2016-03-29 09:09:26 Protection settings have been modified. The
modification might reduce the protection-level.
0004 2016-03-29 09:09:28 Windows - Finished Protection Process -
D:\programowanie\win\bin\rv_sec.exe
It’s suggesting to enable “Remove export from exe” option but it is
enabled.
I spent some time with our problem and key search is working properly – so
if there is no key we have a “Feature has expired” dialog. But if key is
inserted our application wont start. We have automatic crash dump so library
(dll) which has static initialization which enables those crash dumps has been
initialized. But the problem is why it crash.
I already checked and unchecked all the options – currently i have almost
everything disabled (except “Remove export from exe”).
Currently we are using Envelope 7.4
