Thank you! That'll help the situation when I use the Envelope GUI each time. Please note that we won't have the key with us at the time of adding Envelope to the application modules.
Our Distributor keeps an inventory of Hasp Keys. When an order is received, he runs a Utility program to extract the Hasp ID, encrypt it and save it to a file. Our Distributor emails this file to us.
We have an automated production process that handles the rest as under:
- Decrypt the Hasp ID from file.
- Implement User Serialization and create User-specific Configuration files.
- Add Hasp Envelope to the application module(s) using Command-line parameters (In the past, we used the Hasp ID as one of the parameters here).
- Use the enveloped modules and other customized files through another batch process to create the Setup program.
- Zip the Setup and upload to our server.
- Send the Setup file link to the Distributor by email.
The above steps take about a minute and we are done! Our Distributor downloads the Setup file, burn the media and sends it to the customer.
We developed this solution several years ago and are now in the process of upgrading it for the new LDK environment. However, I can't see an option to include Hasp ID while using Envelope with Command-line parameters.
Is there a solution to this situation?
