Hi Ken,

Old libraries be face problems in accessing the key but shouldn't cause any issue in key detection in device manager/Admin Control Center.

Please check and share the following details-
  1. "USB 1.02" is this the firmware of the key?
  2. Are you able to see the key in Admin Control Center on Windows 2008 R2 machine? Does it show three entries in device manager?
  3. Open Admin Control Center page and place the pointer where the key is shown. This should show some additional information about the key hardware. Share the screenhsot.
  4. Disconnect the key from Windows 2016 machine and uninstall the drivers using command line installer (haspdinst.exe). Open CMD with admin rights and execute this command:   haspdinst.exe -purge
  5. Now install again with the following command:   haspdinst.exe -i
  6. Check if it works fine

Regards,
Ashish
